Orientation and Arrival Information
Bennington College is working with the Vermont State Health Department to determine best practices for arrival and orientation. We will update incoming students later this summer with more specific information.
New Student Orientation
New Student Orientation is equal parts landing pad and launch pad. It offers time to get to know the people and resources on campus and opportunities to dive into the intellectual and imaginative work that will propel your experience forward. Together with your classmates and housemates, and your First-Year Forum (FYF) faculty advisor and co-leader, you will begin to shape a vibrant and supportive intellectual community.
Please note that there is a lot to do to prepare for a new academic year. Students who arrive before the designated arrival days will be responsible for finding their own accommodations off campus. There will be no exceptions to this policy. In the coming months, we will provide you more specific information about arrival times. Know that this year will look different than it has in the past, and it is likely that arrivals will take place over days versus all arriving on the same day.
